Lift Him Higher

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.”
— John 12:32 (KJV)

There’s so much pressure today to be seen, to stand out, to make an impact.
But Jesus offers a better way:
Just lift Him up. He does the drawing.

Long ago, when fear and striving gripped the Israelites in the wilderness, God taught them to look up—to trust His provision instead of their own strength. (Numbers 21)
Jesus would later point to that moment to foreshadow the cross: He, too, would be “lifted up” so that all who believe might have life. (John 3:14-15)

As the cross drew near, Jesus spoke again:
“Walk while you have the Light… believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.” (John 12:35–36)

The call is the same today.

It’s not your job to change hearts.
It’s not your job to control outcomes.

Your job is to lift Jesus higher.

Lift Him up in your home — with grace.
Lift Him up in your work — with honesty.
Lift Him up in your life — with faith that He will do what only He can.

When we exalt Christ, His power moves.
He softens hearts.
He invites the weary home.
He makes lost wanderers family.

He is the Savior — not us.
And He is very, very good at being who He says He is.

Today’s Mighty Thought:

You don’t have to make yourself seen.
You don’t have to make yourself heard.
Just lift Jesus higher.
He’ll do the rest.

Closing Prayer

Jesus, I lift you up today. Set my eyes on you and let your perfect will be done. Teach me to trust You in all things. Thank you for carrying me and for caring for me. Help me to keep your teachings and to walk in Your Light. Amen.
