“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, He leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” (Psalm 68:5–6) NASB
With everything swirling around us, it’s easy to feel invisible, burnt out, and weighed down by the heaviness of life.
But our God is mighty to reach us, defend us, and comfort us. The Creator of all things—the Alpha and Omega—sees you. He is holy, set apart, and completely righteous, and yet He draws near to the brokenhearted. He becomes a Good Father to the abandoned, a Righteous Judge for the needy, a Comforter for the lost, and a Savior for the trapped. He sets us free! Where the world overlooks, He leans in. Where others turn away, He draws near.
- If you’ve experienced loss, let the Father heal your heart.
- If you’re struggling to find your way, let the Lord Jesus guide your path.
- If you feel overwhelmed and stretched thin, breathe deep and invite the Holy Spirit to settle His peace within you.
Mighty Thought:
No matter what we are facing, God Almighty is with us and for us. His thoughts toward us are good, and in Him, we are more than conquerors.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank you for loving us so completely and righteously. Thank you for seeing our struggles and knowing our hearts. We need Your guidance and Your presence in our lives. As we go through this day, help us set our eyes on You and rest in Your mercy and kindness. We trust that we are more than overcomers through Christ Jesus. Thank You for saving us. Amen.
